As you saw, my name is Josue. I consider myself a passionate individual rooted in creativity and service, grounded in Christian values. In my free time, I immerse myself in video games like Minecraft or The Legend of Zelda, while enjoying inspiring preaches and music. I also sing and play the guitar. I also actively participate in Agape, a ministry at my church for homeless people, where humility, empathy, collaboration, communication and gentleness guide my actions and learn how to help others.
As an INFP (Idealist), I find joy in enhancing every experience and value honesty and depth in interactions.
So… What about design?
Design has been a big part of my life, not because I started designing at an early age but because I could observe it on my surroundings. I really was interested on how things worked and why I like a thing over another.
EDUCATION
Bachelor in Industrial Design
RECOGNIOTIONS
1st Place on 1st, 7th, and 9th sem.
2nd Place on 2nd semester
This curiosity led me to study Industrial Design at the UANL, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. During 5 years I learned to design products and win some academic merit recognitions.
Then, after 5 years, I graduated with a 92/100 GPA, but I didn't know what to do with my career. I was interested in furniture design but my true aspiration was being on an industry that doesn't make big waste in materials.
Behold, UX UI Design. The moment I learned about it a knew what I wanted to focus as a professional designer. I remembered and noticed how always I observed interfaces and experiences while using my phones, tablets, computers, etc. and feel excited or troubled and make a change in a certain way.
COURSES
The problem was I really didn't know much about UX UI Design. I knew about Design, but not the UX UI Design. So, I took a course at Coderhouse where i made Klip, my first project.
EXPERIENCE
After finishing the course and not having enough experience or money to enter in the tech industry I decided to work on a printing house, while making some projects and preparing myself.

EXPERIENCE
While working, I signed up to another course at Sperientia Academy where, after 6 months of learning UX Research, I entered in a multidisciplinary research team as an intern for a month.
During this time, I started making my new portfolio and learned Framer to make this webpage while actively looking for a job.
EXPERIENCE
Finally, I got to enter to Otif for a two-week trial, but sadly, despite liking my workflow, I didn't met their senior profile requirements as their only junior designer.
Now, as of today, I'm focused on finishing my webpage, freelancing, and looking for a job and new challenges to launch my career.
